UUSF: Whispers in The Dark (Current Storyline)

2016: The city smells of death and decay. A recent typhoid outbreak, one of a particularly virulent strain, has killed most of the populace. Due to epidemic, many citizens have been relocated to Industrial 17 to staff the various empty job openings, causing an influx of disorder, doubt, and unrest among the current citizens that have lived long enough to survive. In the alleys the UUSF, or Universal Union Sociostability Federation, does vigilante work in the name of "The True Benefactors". They believe that the Metropolice have lost control, and connection, with the Universal Union and its people.

Many Metropolice have sympathies for the UUSF, believing their goals are what they joined the force for originally; although any public display of affection for the UUSF would be met with immediate execution/re-education by the higher ranking officers, in an attempt to hold onto power. Each day, more of the oppressed citizens find ways into the ranks of the UUSF, taking up arms more so for self defense than any draw to "The True Benefactors".

In City 45, the UUSF proliferated into the slums and eventually gained a rather large following. After constant abductions, shootings, and beatings of any citizens who were still comfortable being controlled by City 45's Metropolice Force, a coupe was set into place by lower ranking members of the group, it involved using the might of the Universal Union itself to bring them down. The two leaders of City 45's chapter were gunned down against a wall by the Metropolice force, and a new found hatred of the UUSF was spread through propaganda to many other sectors. The UUSF's reign had supposedly come to a halt, or so they thought.

The Industrial 17 Sector is torn, thick with ash and sickness and all of the things the Universal Union would prefer not to be present on earth. The future of Industrial 17, and the Metropolice force within it, is currently unknown. With the new found trouble within Industrial 17, whispers of the UUSF, and its revival, are spreading. The Universal Union strives for a new recovery of Industrial 17 and her people with the new influx of citizens hoping stability can be restored.
